Hi, I’m Jazli!

I’m a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. I have a biomedical science background and my fields of interest include immunology, molecular biology, and oral microbiology. I’m currently part of several research teams studying a wide variety of topics including molecular links between periodontitis and rheumatoid arthritis, microbial growth on orthodontic appliances, effect of probiotics on periodontal pathogen gene expression, and cold plasma treatment on dental biofilm formation.
